We fish for carp at Lincoln Park Pond In Kettering, Ohio & catch most of them on canned corn.
There are many big carp in this pond & many may go over 30 pounds.
People feed the ducks & when they do they also feed the carp & that is why they are so big & healthy.
Everyone releases them unharmed so there are plenty to catch.
Victor who we call the carp king takes over a hundred nice carp every year & he uses all the European tackle & methods.
A fourty pounder is possible here & also at several other ponds in Kettering, Ohio.
The pond also has big shovelhead catfish up to seventy five pounds to date.
Most are caught on live bluegills & always released unharmed so they are still here.
